February!

So it's been a pretty calm month. Not a lot of news or pictures. But I am being bugged to update my blog. So here it is. The highlight of this month is Valentines day, and it was wonderful! Jesse woke up early and went shopping for me. He bought me flowers, two cards (one funny and one romantic), and some cute green Irish pajamas. I love pajamas if you don't know that. And he had already started on house chores by the time I woke up. I woke up to the smell of pine sol, mmm clean! So the pictures are of Valentines morning. Then later that evening we went to our favorite Italian restaurant. We had our favorite waitress who is so cute and Italian. She brought us some fried mozzarella cheese on the house which was so nice. They serve so much food there! We had Spumoni ice cream for dessert which is imported from Italy. It was good! Tasted a lot like Farrs, but a little better. Then we went home and Jesse gave me a massage and ... Then he drew me a bath with rose pedals and candles. So romantic. Zoe loves to lick bath water off of our fingers but we would not let her in during our bath so she was whining at the door. She is so funny and spoiled. After our bath I let her lick the water off of the rose pedals and she loved it. She kept biting the rose pedals too. So that was our Valentines day. Oh and we went to Target and got Jesse some button down shirts. They are cool looking and he looks hot in them. Which is odd to find nice shirts at Target for him. We are getting very excited for our Disneyworld/Seaworld trip. It is in 2 weeks! So there will definitely be pics posted of that. Thanks to everyone who follows my blog and loves us! We miss those of you who are far away and hope to be coming home this summer! Oh and by the way it's snowing! We are expecting 3-8 inches in Charlotte. Very rare for N. Carolina. Maybe going into work late tomorrow. Or not at all.

It Snowed in N. Carolina!

Wow! It snowed today. The first time in four years here. So because people are not used to snow they canceled school for Jesse and I got the day off work. Our office manager took home the schedule and called patients to cancel. Yeah. So funny. I actually had already taken the day off to get my N. Carolina license and registration. Dr. Jennings is in Puerto Rico for a week so we only have one doctor there. So it's the perfect time to do it. I had to take a written test (yuck) but passed missing olny 2. I studied hard last night. So I am an official N. Carolinian. Kinda weird. Jesse is loving school this semester. He is doing hours at a pharmacy 2 nights a week. He loves it and is helpful to the pharmacy by filling prescriptions, answering phones, taking prescriptions, etc. So he is excited for his career. Probably dosen't want to do retail pharmacy for a long time though. Jesse has spring break for a week March 14th-21st and so we have decided to go on vacation. We will be going to DisneyWorld! Yeah. We are so excited. We will be there for 8 nights. We are going to Sea World for a day as well. Jesse has never been to Disney World or Sea World, so he will love it. We are siked! I have wanted to go to Disney World again for a long time, but it was so far away before. Now we are 8 hours away, just a drive. I was 13 yrs old the only time I went to Disney World. So it will be practically new to me too. Well that's all of our news for now. Peace out!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
So I decided to create our own blog in addition to my families blog (
csters@blogspot.com). Me and Jesse had a great Christmas. We went to the Hadlocks for Christmas Eve and had a great time. They are a family from our ward and we've started a great freindship with them. Jesse gets along with Daniel and I get along with Jen-Lee. We get our hair cut by the same person and went last week together. Then we went shopping afterwards. She is so cute and fun to be with. There is Jen-Lee, Daniel and their three adorable girls ages 6-2. There will be a picture of the girls performing Christmas Bells for us. It's a primary song that unfortanetly sticks in your head. We ate a wonderful ham, cheesy potato, green bean casserole, attichoke dip, rolls, and sweet potato dish with a pumpkin crunch cake dessert. Nummy! Then we chatted and played with the girls. Then Jen-Lee's parents sang some french christmas carols for us. Her mom is from France and her dad served a mission there. It was beautiful! And we had a Christmas message from Daniel. Then the girls went to bed and we played apples to apples. Jen's parents went home and we wrapped some presents and stayed there talking till 2:00 am. Then we dreamed of sugar plums until Christmas morning. We woke up at 9:00 and opened our gifts. Our big gift for Christmas this year was a 37 in. LG high definition T.V. We bought it and put it together a few weeks ago. We love it. Wow the picture is so clear. We gave our handed down 25 in. tube t.v (20 yrs old) to Goodwill. So we have loved watching movies on it. It's fun. Jesse gave me some beautiful purple silky pjs. I love silky pajamas and purple. So he did good. My family gave us some neat little gifts and money. His parents also gave us money. So with that we have half the T.V. paid off. And we will pay the rest next month. Jesse got the Harry Potter movies 1-5 and Tales of the Beetle and Bard from me. I also got him a screwdriver and socket thats intercahngable (we needed one) and the so exciting dress socks. Oh and some pajama bottoms that he opened last night. We also are going to buy and Ipod stero player with my Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's money. And Cami and Lloyd gave us some money. We are so blessed! Thankyou everyone for your gifts. Then we had homemade scones, sausage, eggs, and OJ for breakfast. Family tradition. I had never made scones from scratch before and they turned out great. Then we went back to bed because we were tired from being out late (worth it though). So we slept till 2, and then watched the classic movie The Christmas Story. Then we made a delicious dinner (Cranberry ham, stuffed potaotes, asparagus, rolls, and sparkling cider). I miss my family so much today. I had a hard time with it being my first Christmas away from home. But at least they are olny a phone call away. That comforts me and helps. Well enjoy our pictures and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
